Shooting Schedule

This is our shooting schedule. We planned to film all our footage in two days, and we successfully completed this. Having this guideline helped us to be a lot more organised so our filming went a lot smoother.

My role in the organisational aspects of planning and shooting

As I am not going to be starring in the opening I have taken on the role of filming the actual production. Because of this I have been planning angles and types of ways I will film the shots. As Jessica is my good friend I have been to her house many times so I know where we will be filming which makes it easier for me to understand how I can film the shots. Also this will make the whole filming experience a lot smoother and easier for us as a group.

My personal response to our groups plans for filming and shooting

As a group we have been working for the past few weeks on planning how we will film and shoot our opening. I feel we have worked reasonably well together and have listened to everyone's opinions without leaving anyone out. We had a meeting where we looked at all our individual storyboards and took ideas from each of ours to create our final storyboard idea. We found that all of our storyboards were based around the horror genre so to choose our genre was quite easy. Ways in which we could have worked better probably would have been to work a bit faster as we were a lesson behind what a few other groups were doing at the beginning but now we've caught up but we had to work very fast and rush for a few lessons to get back up to date. We have planned to film the opening at Jessica's house in her garage, bedroom and living room and we have planned to do it on the weekend of the 29th and 30th of January. I am really looking forward to the filming and also the editing that will follow. I can't wait to see the final product!
